Since the opening of the refurbished inn, we have visited about 5 times, and not had a bad meal yet, the menue is basic, but there is plenty of it and the prices are very good, we have recommended it to all our friends.

Visited lunchtime for a meal. We arrived just as the Pub opened. We were given a very warm welcome. The dining room is light, airy and pleasant with plenty of space around each table. The food which included fresh vegetables was perfectly cooked and represented excellent value for money.

This being our second visit within a week. Excellent value for money, the food was freshly cooked to a standard far exceeding the normal pub meals we have been accustomed to. We received excellent service and the real ale was an added bonus. All in all a marvellous dining experience thoroughly reccomended even if you have to go out of your way en-route to your destination.
